Healthcare data infrastructure and capture
The third sub-project of the Swiss Neurorehab mission aims to build a secure and privacy-preserving data infrastructure to exchange various types of neurorehabilitation-related data and analyze/visualize outcomes for optimal decision-making. To support a continuum of care, clinical and patient care pathways will be modeled and implemented with the integration of personal data, such as sensor data and patient-reported outcomes, into the platform.
The main outcome will be an interoperable platform for the capture, exchange, and analysis of neurorehabilitation-related data among hospitals, clinics, private therapists, and patients. This platform will facilitate the creation of shared care and treatment plans along the continuum of care, enabling coherent and informed follow-up of patients across organizations. It will include not only electronic patient records but also data generated by interconnected digital therapeutic devices and patient-reported outcomes.
